Quick Start

  1. Register and create an API key from nametoprofile.com/register.html.
  2. Install the NameToProfile Firefox extension.
  3. Open the extension and save your API key during setup.
  4. Open a LinkedIn Sales Navigator people search results page under /sales/search/people.
  5. Open the extension panel and click Start Capturing.
  6. Scroll the results page so visible lead cards can be captured.
Supported scope: The extension works only on LinkedIn Sales Navigator people search result pages. It does not support general LinkedIn pages, profile pages, messaging pages, or unrelated sites.

How the workflow behaves

  • The extension captures visible lead names and Sales Navigator lead URLs from supported results pages.
  • Capture does not start until you click Start Capturing in the extension UI.
  • Resolution starts automatically after at least 25 queued leads.
  • Resolved results can be exported to Excel from the extension.

Stored locally

The extension stores your API key and workflow state locally in the browser so setup and queue state survive panel closes and background-worker restarts.

Export fields

The Excel export can include Name, Sales Nav URL, Public Profile URL, Confidence, Warning, Error, and Lead ID.

Troubleshooting

Start Capturing is disabled

  • Open a supported Sales Navigator people search page under /sales/search/people.
  • Then reopen the extension panel and try again.

No leads are being captured

  • Make sure capture is turned on in the extension UI.
  • Scroll the results page so visible lead cards load.
  • Check that the page is a Sales Navigator people search results page.

Processing does not start yet

  • Resolution starts automatically only after at least 25 leads are queued.
  • Keep capturing and scrolling until the queue reaches that threshold.

Invalid API key or missing key

  • Open Settings and verify the saved API key.
  • If needed, generate a new key from your NameToProfile dashboard and save it again.

Out of credits or usage issue

  • Open the extension panel or Settings to review remaining credits.
  • If credits are exhausted, purchase more and retry.

FAQ

Does saving the API key start resolving immediately?

No. Saving your key does not start resolving by itself. You still need to open a supported Sales Navigator page and click Start Capturing in the extension UI.

Which LinkedIn pages are supported?

The extension supports LinkedIn Sales Navigator people search result pages only.

When does resolution begin?

Resolution begins automatically after at least 25 leads are queued.

What does Clear Lead Data remove?

It removes pending and resolved lead data from the extension and keeps the saved API key.
