LinkedIn Profile Extractor
Turn any LinkedIn profile into structured data (JSON/CSV/Excel) — pick the sections you want, capture in bulk, and optionally ICP-score. Extraction is free.
Get Profile Extractor
Add it to Chrome or Firefox and start in minutes.
What it does
Open a LinkedIn profile, click the extension, and get a clean, structured data file — no copy-paste. You choose which of 17 sections to include, can capture many profiles in one session (Bulk Capture), and can optionally score each profile against your ICP brief. It doesn't crawl LinkedIn in the background.
Before you start
- Chrome or Firefox, signed in to LinkedIn (the reliable data path needs your session)
- A NameToProfile API key (only needed for scoring and to show your balance — extraction itself is free)
Extract a profile
- 1Open a profile — Navigate to a linkedin.com/in/<handle> page and open the extension.
- 2Pick fields — Tick the sections you want. Experience and Education have a “most-recent N” limit (default 2; set 0 for all).
- 3Extract & export — Click Extract, then download JSON (full nested shape), CSV, or Excel.
Available sections: Intro, About, Experience, Education, Skills, Languages, Certifications, Projects, Volunteering, Accomplishments, Recommendations, Services, Interests, Causes, Contact info, Network, and Creator website.
Bulk capture & scoring
- Bulk Capture: save many profiles in one session and export them together; captures survive popup close and browser restart.
- Scoring: pick an approved brief, then Fast-score (1 credit) or Deep-score (20 credits) — single or whole batch. Deep bulk is capped at 50 by default.
- Results cache per brief + profile for 24 hours, so re-scoring in that window is free.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| “Not a LinkedIn profile page” | Open a linkedin.com/in/<handle> page and reopen the popup. |
| Extraction hangs at “Scrolling page…” | LinkedIn changed its layout for you — hard-refresh (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R) and click Extract again. |
| Contact info is empty | It needs the contact modal and the owner's visibility settings. Be signed in to LinkedIn; if the owner restricts it, even LinkedIn won't show it. |
| Some interests/recommendations missing | Those load from DOM-only tabs; if LinkedIn is slow, retry the extraction. |
| Out of credits | Only scoring is blocked — extract/download/brief-listing stay free. Top up to resume scoring. |
| Downloads do nothing | Check the browser's download settings; CSV/JSON always work as a fallback. Re-run if the popup was refreshed. |
